Your brain is spot on. I LOVE the Kushiel series. Carey makes me swoon with her hot, kinky, courageous, outrageous, heroines, heroes, sweeping intrigues and grand scale adventures.

Off subject, but I was halfway through the book I’m currently reading and my brain went “Hey Grau! ‘Zan would totally love this series!”
I think my brain is right, you would.
If you’re looking for some fresh reading material that I think is right up your alley, pick up or borrow “Kushiel’s Dart” by Jacqueline Carey.
Excellent stuff….
