The bellyflower opens the portal to a whole new Universe..

Painted the gorgeous(and soon to birth a baby girl) KC at the Little Red Studio Gold Show on friday. Felt good to get my paint on after a long and annoying hiatus.

    Zan,
    Thank you for remembering me by sharing these photographs. I am fond of KC and am happy for her. When she first mentioned to me that she would like to be painted I immediately [of course] thought of you. I’m glad it worked out so successfully. Successfully, like WOW! Kate and I have been out of town and so we missed the Gold Show. KC is approaching and celebrating her new life as a mother in beautiful ways. You are an angel to support her.

    First off: Beautiful work!
    Second, I can’t but think how cool it would be to show the child this picture in 3 or 4 years and say “That’s you in there under the stars….”
