Yay, fame!
Just noticed a friend has a whole gallery of pics from a bodypainting performance I did with Sophia at SEAF several years ago.
Yay, fame!
My son’s school had a rockin’ fundraiser festival today-Whistlepig!
I painted cuffs on the fairgoers:
So much fun! And they kept me busy too, lining up for cuffs-I barely had time to sneak off and dancedancedance to the awesome tunes of 17th Chapter!
So, I HAD planned to do three silk/lace mache dresses on Rita for SEAF, but some over zealous volunteer ‘cleaned up’ and apparently threw away our bag of silk and lace pieces that we’d cut up for the dress-making(along with my scissors and pasties)! Grack!
The only fabric and paint dress I ended up making was this sparkly little silver number:
The rest of the performances I had to resort to paint only. Sigh, all those lovely little lacey, silky scraps trashed! Mrrrggghhhh.
Oh wells-more pics here.
Anna won my heart with her awesome multiple hair twists. I decided to meet their complexity and elegance with geometric shapes and black lace…
More Anna twisty hotness here!
I couldn’t resist bloo’s amazing hair, I just had to paint her an outfit to match..
So gorgeous! More bloo here.
I’m so not feeling orderly tonight, so don’t expect these to be in order of appearance-or any other particular order.
But OMG! SEAF was fun this year-I did SIX bodypaintings! Whoohoo!
So behold:
Rita on FIRE!!!
So pretty, even if we did take the pictures in the back room, fending off piles of everyone’s gear.
What a blast!
More Rita on fire here.
And yes, I will process my own pictures soon, I promise.
