The fame continues-at least for my hand and Rita’s lovely back.
So, I decided to mix it up a bit for my SEAF body painting performance.. Instead of my usual bodypainting, I’m going to silk-mache a dress on Rita-well actually, three dresses! One for each of the nights of SEAF!
And, we have proof of concept, ‘cuz we tried it out at LRS’s last Gold Show. It was a spectacular success!

Oooohhlala! And, she danced like a silver fox all night, tassles flying ’round her ankles-so sexylovely! More silky Rita pics here.
SEAF is going to be amazing. Don’t miss it! We’ll be performing at 9pm every night.

I love this event! How could I not?
24 hours of art-making madness with my wonderful, creative, wackyass friends and community?
I had so much fun this year. I drew/painted four lovely works on paper..

..and bodypainted the lovely Kerry:
And read a short, new poem:
Tiny,
wailing on the brink,
I cower before the echoing,
thunderous laughter
of my own heart.
You can see the rest of the loverly pictures here.
Aaaaaaaah, my art life is amazing right now.
JOY!
I painted fireworks on Rita at the LRS New Year’s Eve party.

It was so FUN! Ben played with the band in the cafe space and The Nasty Habits played in the performance hall, where we did our bodypainting act.. Best New Year’s Eve ever!
The juggler, Cody, saw me paint Rita and asked me to paint him too, so I did a double header.

Then we all rocked out on the dance floor. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah… SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO needed to shake some bootie!
More pretty NYE pics here. Don’t miss me new xmas pirate sox! AAAARH!
Cherie sent me some pics she took at the Sensual Repast.

I flickr’d ‘em along with the original set.
Enjoy!
I love these crisp, delicious Autumn days and nights… The fog burning off to let the sun caress the glowing scarlet and gold embers of the deciduous trees and the blustering winds tossing the leaves about every which way. The punkins and squashes and soups. The harvest moon and the convocations of crows.
Kim asked me to do a bodypainting performance for the Little Red Studio’s Sensual Repast and Rita agreed to come be my canvas, so I covered her in leaves and crows rejoicing in the copper moon.

More leaves blowing about her back..

Yum. Then we got to feast on Kim’s delicious Repast. Scrumptious punkin soup, phat crab cakes and meltingly luscious lamb legs.. I had to run home after the main course to hang with my kiddo, so I missed the Erotic Haunted House and dessert, but it was a lovely evening, nonetheless.
Mmmm…
Flickr’d set here.

Oh, wait a minute, it is!
I painted this hot little number on the exquisite Miss Rita at the last Little Red Studio Gold Show. It was so totally hot-even if it did take a bazillion hours to create all the lace on the stockings.

See all the purty lacey pictures here.
Rita(one of my favorite bodypainting models) and I are always hearing how alike we look, so we decided to play switcheroo at the last Gold show.
She dressed up in my painter gear and I dressed down(to the bare essentials) as her model, did our hair in identical pigtails and she painted me! It was too fun and so interesting to be the painted one, for a change. And, goddamn, she looks hawt in my painty gear!

Not bad for her first time, huh?
My friend Danni asked me to do a bodypainting performance(or two, or three…) at a fabulous fundraiser party she put together for Bloop last weekend!
Woot! What a party! Trays of lobster, smoked salmon and fine chocolates floated about, the music was awesome, the drinks amazing and truly libidinous, the dance floor was rockin’ and there was massage and all kinds of snuggly, kissin’ corners as Bloop is famous for…
It was so much fun to bodypaint to the delicious sounds of Heather on the harp and John on cello, plus some foxy, stripey girl who joined in all impromptulicious on her violin.
Rita was my first victim(sorry the lighting is gawdawful).

Then later on, after we’d liberally sampled the loverly cocktails, it was time for Matt and Eva to step up-so much fun to paint a couple together! They swiftly became Beltaine cherry trees and Molly read a scientifically sexy poem while I added the finishing touches-embellishing Eva’s nipple ring barbells with cherry red paint.

Much dancing later, Chris caught me on my way towards the door, a sweet thing in his wake, begging for paint… I couldn’t leave a lovely lady unsatisfied, so Cicci got her beltaine fire(again, the lighting sucked for pictures.. Sorry) lit.

More beautiful beltaine bodies here.
