A lovely, snuggly sunday pj party left it’s flowery imprint on my belly last weekend.

A lovely, snuggly sunday pj party left it’s flowery imprint on my belly last weekend.
Sam is such a lucky kid.

He made out like a bandit for his birthday, hard on the heels of heaping piles of xmas loot, too!

Not to mention, my friend Rachael made him an awesome, beautiful, delicious chocolate and peanut butter cake-perfect for kidlet birthdayification.

Had a rockin’ studio last night… My new friend Kristy came to be my canvas(waiting for permission on the fabulous pics), spun her fire hoop, just happened to have a didgeridoo in her car at the perfect moment and wowed everyone with her gorgeous radiant presence.
She also brought the killer anime heroine get up that you see above-which just happened to match my brand spanking(pun intended) new black and blue flogger!

Halloween at the Fremont troll… It was a bit slow ’til the jugglers and skeleton samba dancers showed up-then we were frightfully happy.
Unfortunately, the dancer pics didn’t come out… They were truly amazing in their black bodysuits with flourescent skeletons painted on, wild raffia hair and intoxicating movements. The band was great too.
And afterwards we all got to troop back to David’s place and watch Firefly. All in all, twas an excellent Halloween evening.

I painted kisses liberally amongst the guests, but Sharon got the extraspecial birthday Wargoddess armbands!
We rocked the sleepy neighborhood of Lake Forest Park last night, celebrating Love and my dear friend Sharon’s birthday… So much awesome live music, massage, poetry(I got to read my ‘Creation Porn’ and several other macabre/juicy pieces). The food was veganly delicious, the conversation was… very accupuncturial, and the lovin’ was awesome!

I love you gorgeous girl! You are a rich, juicy, strong treasure of a woman and I’m so proud of you, so happy and grateful to know you… I look forward to seeing your path unfurl, your practice open, your spirit bloom and thrive in the midst of life’s challenges, loves, lights and sorrows.
You are so loved.

My Naked Human Hoop-making Potlucky Party went well last night. My house was full of gorgeous half-naked women(a few boys here and there too!). Whooohooo! -I almost forgot about the hoop-making in my bedazzlement and the fun of wrastling the humonguous heap o’ clothes, but once I got everyone out back for the bonfire, music and hoopery, it all came together and lotsa pretty hoops took shape! Everyone went home happily feasted, wiser in the ways of the hula hoop and with new treasures for their wardrobe…

Hoops are actually pretty easy to make!
What a messy house! But hey, I think everyone had fun, the fridge is groaning with yummy leftovers and Sharon and I had fun setting up the kissing tent.

Wound up my long friday evening of massaging bodies at Turtletown.
I shook all the kinks out(well, maybe not quite ALL of them-being such a kinky girl) on the dance floor amidst the spectacular, wild, warm, loving, sexy, hilarious flying turtles.
Then we all snuggled up for strawberries, chocolate and even an improv sinking ship(true story!) theatre act!
Twas the perfect end to a less than perfect week.
We shared freaky vomit stories and talked heart-wrenching buddhism ’til the wee hours.
Life is good-even when it sucks.
I was feeling chilly and forlorn in this spastic Seattle spring weather, so I decided it was time to heat up the place!

As you can see, we christened my pretty new copper fire pit quite royally. It was a brilliant fire momma celebration. We feasted, drank and made merry with drums and guitars, snugglin’,

dancin’, raspberry tarts(yum-thanks Kim!), s’mores and some very enthusiastic pallet smashing! Then the fire dancers arrived…

Janice and Sarah really lit up the night!

YaEl even took a turn spinning and eating flame.
It was such an awesome, beautiful time. My momma and I closed out the evening with a sweet lil ceremony, Josh and YaEl playing guitar and singing softly in yiddish as Sam fell asleep in my arms.
Thanks everyone! I needed that.
Now summer can begin.

Beltane at the park was beautiful, but CHILLY! I was so happy when they finally got the bonfire going and we all jumped over it, including some very excited little kids(luckily nobody got burnt)…
Josh had the cutest pigtails, so he got to be May King and had an absolute blast, even if his rather virginal Queen was too shy to kiss him…

The best part, in my opinion, was dancing around the fire-drums, fire, chanting, dancing… There’s nothing quite so deliciously primal.
Rrrrrr…
