Actually I was just trying to make life more exciting for Daniel.
See, I make this p'au d'arco tea that has to be boiled for 20 minutes. I make it almost every day and whilst I'm waiting I do stuff... Like blogging... and every so often I tend to get into what I'm doing(typical Zan behavior) and forget I've got something boiling away on the stove...
I guess I should add that I have no sense of smell, so the only warning sign I get is when it actually starts to smoke.
:(
So, to make a long story short, it's the bottom of my pau'd'arco pan-ain't it purty?
The funniest thing is this is the third time I've done it in the last two weeks-luckily D's really really good at cleaning ruined pans till they shine again...
It's bark, as in tree bark. That's why it made such a curiously beautiful scorchpattern.
:)
I drink it because it is a very effective antifungal-it kills yeast. I have a tendency to candidiasis-systemic yeast overgrowth(which causes indigestion, itching and can lead to some serious health problems if unchecked). Yeast feeds on sugar and so whenever I succumb to temptation(usually of the chocolate variety)I try and cut it off at the pass with lots of p'au d'arco tea.
You exploded the sun?
