it's always so exciting at first, when the big strips of paint just peel miraculously, easybreezy, from the doorframe... then, somewhere along the line, you hit a stubborn spot, and then another and another, clinging for dear life to the ol' green primer beneath.

i was hoping to get the painting done tomorrow, in time for moving day, but it's looking like i'll be stripping for awhile.
